Acknowledgements

The Arc-WofE extension was developed by Laura Kemp under the direction of Graeme Bonham-Carter, Gary Raines (USGS), Danny Wright, John Broome and Jeff Harris at the Geological Survey of Canada.

A weights of evidence extension developed by Robyn Gallagher was purchased as part of this project. Part of the code from this extension has been incorporated into the Arc-WofE extension. Robyn also provided very useful guidance and suggestions early on in the project.

We would particularly like to acknowledge and thank Gary Raines, USGS, and Lyle Burgess, of Prospectivity Mapping, Australia, for their review, testing and feed-back during the development of the extension.

Arc-WofE Web Pages

A web page, http://gis.NRCan.gc.ca/restricted/woe , was used during development to deliver current 'beta' versions of the extension along with installation instructions and sample data sets. The page will be maintained for at least one year after release of the extension to project partners. Access will remain restricted to the partners.

Please refer to the web page for any new information, fixes and the most current version of the extension. All information on this CD will also be available from the web page. Notice of significant updates to the web page, such as a new version of the extension, will be e-mailed to contacts and workshop participants. For information about access to the web page, please contact John Broome, broome@NRCan.gc.ca. For information about the content of the web page, please contact Laura Kemp, kemp@gis.NRCan.gc.ca.
