Next conference (VIII GeoSciEd) will be hosted at the University of Campinas, Brazil, 22-27 of July 2018. In order to support the participation of delegates from developing countries other than the host country (Brazil), IGEO opens this call for supporting two delegates.<\/p>\n<p>The support will be up 1,000 USD per person, to be provided in cash at the conference.<\/p>\n<p>Basic requirement to be a candidate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>be resident of developing countries which are considered low-income economies, lower-middle-income economies , upper-middle-income economies, as indicate by the World Bank list <a href=\"https:\/\/datahelpdesk.worldbank.org\/knowledgebase\/articles\/906519-world-bank-country-and-lending-groups\">https:\/\/datahelpdesk.worldbank.org\/knowledgebase\/articles\/906519-world-bank-country-and-lending-groups<\/a> (excluding Brazil)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Criteria for ranking the candidates:<\/p>\n<p>1) To be author of at least one abstract or workshop submitted to the VIII GeoSciEd<\/p>\n<p>2) Candidate who fills the UNESCO\/IGEO Experts Survey on Geoscience Education<\/p>\n<p>3) Longest distance from Campinas<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Candidates have to fill the following google form <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/YtjyIplJ5xW1FJem1\">https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/YtjyIplJ5xW1FJem1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Deadline 07 of June 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The selection results will be communicated 15 of June 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CRITERIA FOR IGEO SUPPORT TO THE NEXT VIII GEOSCIED INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE &nbsp; The international Geoscience Education Organization (IGEO) promotes the quadrennial international conference called GeoSciEd.
