B. de Farias &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imposs\u00edvel se manter indiferente a estes monumentos naturais, as Pedras Equilibristas se destacam na paisagem e no imagin\u00e1rio popular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">As \u201cPedras Equilibristas\u201d tamb\u00e9m conhecidas como \u201c<em>Balanced Rocks<\/em>\u201d ou \u201c<em>Precariously Balancing Rocks<\/em>\u201d (PBRs) em ingl\u00eas ou \u201c<em>Piedras Equilibristas<\/em>\u201d em espanhol s\u00e3o fei\u00e7\u00f5es naturais resultado da a\u00e7\u00e3o de processos de origem geol\u00f3gica e\/ou geomorfol\u00f3gica <strong>compostas por grandes blocos rochosos<\/strong> que se mant\u00e9m <strong>em um delicado equil\u00edbrio<\/strong> sobre um ou mais pontos de apoio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Seu equil\u00edbrio \u00e9 tamanho que muitas destas fei\u00e7\u00f5es aparentam estar prestes a tombar\/desmoronar, no entanto, nenhum ser humano foi capaz de mov\u00ea-las (ainda). Tais fei\u00e7\u00f5es apresentam milhares (ou alguns milh\u00f5es) de anos de idade e <strong>podem ser encontradas em todo o mundo <\/strong>sob os mais diferentes tipos de rochas (granitos, basaltos,&nbsp; arenitos, quartzitos) e regimes clim\u00e1ticos (tropical, temperado e \u00e1rido), sobretudo naquelas \u00e1reas crat\u00f4nicas e\/ou de cintur\u00f5es orog\u00eanicos antigos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"529\" height=\"280\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1984\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-5.png 529w, https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-5-300x159.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 529px) 100vw, 529px\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/zimfieldguide.com\/harare\/chiremba-epworth-balancing-rocks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\"><sup>Uma das Pedras Equilibristas encontradas em Epworth presente numa nota de 100 trilh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares emitida em 2008 durante o per\u00edodo de Hiperinfla\u00e7\u00e3o que atingiu o Zimbabwe. \u00c9 considerada a nota de maior \u201cdenomina\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d j\u00e1 emitida no mundo.<\/sup><\/span><\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1983\" width=\"702\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-4.png 642w, https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-4-300x168.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 702px) 100vw, 702px\" \/><figcaption><sup><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zimbabwetourism.net\/listing\/chiremba-balancing-rocks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pedra Equilibrista encontrada na regi\u00e3o de Epworth no Zimbabwe<\/a> <\/span><\/sup><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>Origem e Significado das Pedras Equilibristas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A origem destas fei\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 amplamente discutida no meio cient\u00edfico e est\u00e1 comumente associada \u00e0 <strong>evolu\u00e7\u00e3o de espessos mantos de intemperismo<\/strong>, t\u00edpicos de <em>margens passivas<\/em><sup><strong>1<\/strong><\/sup> sujeitas a climas tropicais \u00famidos e posterior exposi\u00e7\u00e3o em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da denuda\u00e7\u00e3o fluvial ou pluvial. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><sup><strong>1<\/strong><\/sup><em>Borda ou margem de um continente sem tectonismo pronunciado como, por exemplo, as margens continentais junto \u00e0 costa brasileira, e que n\u00e3o coincidem com borda de placa tect\u00f4nica.<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/sigep.cprm.gov.br\/glossario\/verbete\/margem_continental_passiva.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\">Gloss\u00e1rio Geol\u00f3gico &#8211; CPRM<\/span><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Alguns autores indicam a <strong>possibilidade de blocos transportados por geleiras<\/strong>, mas estes exemplos <strong>s\u00e3o mais raros e restritos<\/strong> a regi\u00f5es que foram atingidas pelo \u00faltimo m\u00e1ximo glacial. Para diversos autores a origem, o desenvolvimento e sobretudo a preserva\u00e7\u00e3o dos blocos na paisagem pode ser tradicionalmente explicada pelo seguinte modelo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-6.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1985\" width=\"388\" height=\"386\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-6.png 479w, https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-6-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 388px) 100vw, 388px\" \/><figcaption><sup>Modelo de desenvolvimento proposto para as \u201cPedras Equilibristas\u201d encontradas em \u00e1reas gran\u00edticas. <strong>Est\u00e1gio I)<\/strong> Inicialmente ocorre o intemperismo qu\u00edmico subsuperficial ao longo das superf\u00edcies das juntas e o desenvolvimento de material transport\u00e1vel mecanicamente; <strong>Est\u00e1gio II)<\/strong> Exuma\u00e7\u00e3o dos n\u00facleos esferoidais assim como sua coloca\u00e7\u00e3o em posi\u00e7\u00f5es prec\u00e1rias\/pouco usuais. Fonte: Twidale, 1982.<\/sup><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/chapter\/10.1007\/978-3-030-66161-8_10\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\">Rabassa et al. (2021) <\/span><\/a>afirmam que as pedras equilibristas encontradas na Am\u00e9rica do Sul estariam diretamente relacionadas \u00e0s \u00e1reas de ocorr\u00eancia da antiga Paleo-superf\u00edcie Gondwana, sendo um forte indicativo da presen\u00e7a de climas tropicais \u00famidos no passado do nosso continente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, \u00e9 comum na literatura trabalhos associando tais fei\u00e7\u00f5es com a <strong>estabilidade tect\u00f4nica local<\/strong>. A simples presen\u00e7a de tais estruturas pode ser interpretada como um importante indicativo para a paleosismologia, <strong>uma vez que seu delicado equil\u00edbrio poderia ser facilmente rompido<\/strong>, mesmo por abalos s\u00edsmicos de baixa intensidade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De forma geral ainda se sabe muito pouco sobre o real significado geol\u00f3gico\/geomorfol\u00f3gico e at\u00e9 mesmo hist\u00f3rico\/arqueol\u00f3gico destas fei\u00e7\u00f5es, uma vez que v\u00e1rias pedras se encontram associadas a s\u00edtios arqueol\u00f3gicos e a pinturas rupestres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>Potencialidades e Exemplos Brasileiros<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Uma das principais potencialidades das \u201cPedras Equilibristas\u201d reside na sua <strong>capacidade de atrair turistas<\/strong>, indicando um elevado potencial para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cprm.gov.br\/publique\/Gestao-Territorial\/Gestao-Territorial\/Geoparques-5414.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Geoparques<\/a><\/span>, objetivando a explora\u00e7\u00e3o econ\u00f4mica das \u00e1reas de ocorr\u00eancia e sobretudo sua preserva\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental. Apesar de reconhecido, esse potencial <strong>ainda \u00e9 muito pouco explorado no territ\u00f3rio nacional<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dentre as iniciativas de destaque temos o <strong>Parque Pedra da Cebola<\/strong>, localizado no Bairro Mata da Praia em Vit\u00f3ria no Esp\u00edrito Santo. A Pedra da Cebola recebe esse nome em fun\u00e7\u00e3o de seu aspecto \u201cdescamado\u201d similar \u00e0s palhas de uma cebola. Trata-se de um <strong>granito <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sigep.cprm.gov.br\/glossario\/verbete\/porfiritica.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">porfir\u00edtico<\/a><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\"> <\/span>(Granito Vit\u00f3ria) que apresenta matriz de granula\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dia e colora\u00e7\u00e3o acinzentada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1986\" width=\"718\" height=\"404\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-7.png 642w, https:\/\/www.ige.unicamp.br\/pedologia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2021\/07\/image-7-300x169.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 718px) 100vw, 718px\" \/><figcaption><sup>Vista Geral do Parque da Pedra da Cebola em Vit\u00f3ria &#8211; ES, nota-se os jardins e a Pedra da Cebola ao fundo com seu aspecto \u201cdescamado\u201d. Fonte: Ana Paula de Oliveira<\/sup><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>O Parque constitui uma das principais \u00e1reas abertas \u00e0 visita\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica em Vit\u00f3ria e conta com uma ampla gama de atra\u00e7\u00f5es, playground, pistas para caminhada, jardim oriental, mini zool\u00f3gico, \u00e1reas dedicadas \u00e0s pr\u00e1ticas esportivas e um Centro de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental voltado a pr\u00e1ticas pedag\u00f3gicas que buscam estimular a reflex\u00e3o e o aprendizado de temas ambientais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outro importante exemplo no territ\u00f3rio nacional \u00e9 a <strong>Pedra Chap\u00e9u do Sol<\/strong> que se localiza na regi\u00e3o norte do Munic\u00edpio de Cristalina, no Estado de Goi\u00e1s, mais precisamente na por\u00e7\u00e3o central do Domo de Cristalina. Trata-se de um <strong>gigantesco mon\u00f3lito de quartzito<\/strong> que pesa aproximadamente 350 toneladas e possui cerca de 13,7 metros de comprimento, sendo datada em 1.2 bilh\u00f5es de anos. O bloco possui um alinhamento de seu eixo principal na dire\u00e7\u00e3o N-S e uma inclina\u00e7\u00e3o de aproximadamente 10<sup>o<\/sup>, sendo uma das principais atra\u00e7\u00f5es tur\u00edsticas do estado.
