Thus, the scope of SPRG research lines<\/strong> is to investigate the mentioned issues using sedimentological, pedological, and stratigraphical proxies aiming to identify possible solutions by a comprehensive geological approach.<\/p>\n The creation of the Source-to-sink\u00a0<\/b>and Paleopedology <\/b>Research Group (SPRG)<\/b> occurred with the strong purpose of integrate students and researchers with the commitment and interest to study and develop projects in the areas of stratigraphy, pedology, petroleum geology, and basin analysis.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n SPRG<\/strong> pursue to incentivize research in different academic levels (e.g.. scientific initiation, undergraduate Research project, MSc dissertation, Ph.D. thesis, and Postdoctoral studies). We want to encourage and motivate all of our members to publish in scientific journals taking into account innovation, team work, and mutual collaboration.
