Iago Breno Araujo

Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of São Paulo. Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo and graduated in Computer Engineering from the State University of Feira de Santana. Served as a volunteer and scholarship recipient from the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Bahia in the field of Image Analysis and Processing with a focus on the medical field (2012-2015). Conducted research on Machine Learning methods in the field of Information Retrieval for his undergraduate thesis (2015-2016). Completed an academic exchange program in the Integrated Master’s in Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the New University of Lisbon with a focus on Machine Learning (2016-2017). Worked as a CAPES/CNPq scholarship recipient during the master’s program, researching Deep Learning methods in Computer Vision (2017-2019). Interested in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing.
