Graduated in Computer Science from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT). Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), and a Ph.D. in Informatics in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Her research insterests are: distance education, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), and more recently, women participation in online courses related to technology.
