Ana Maria Alves Carneiro da Silva

PhD in Scientific and Technological Policy from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp – 2007). Master’s degree in Sociology from Unicamp (2000) and graduated in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Goiás (1997). She has a Post Doctorate in Evaluation in CT&I. and currently is a Researcher at the Public Policy Studies Center (NEPP/Unicamp). Professor in the Graduate Program in Scientific and Technological Policy (DPCT/IG/Unicamp); Associate Coordinator of the Higher Education Studies Laboratory (LEES/NEPP) and Associate Coordinator of the Study Group on Research and Innovation (GEOPI/Unicamp). From March 2005 to March 2007, she held the position of Research Manager at the SOFTEX Digital Observatory, a research and planning unit of the Association for the Promotion of Excellence in Brazilian Software. Her research expertise encompasses the fields of Evaluation, Technological Prospecting and Intellectual Property, working mainly on the following topics: Higher Education, Public Policies, Science Technology and Innovation, Impact Assessment, Scientific Diaspora.
