Research on Research and Innovation at the Triple Helix Conference, in São Paulo

Researcher Luciane Ferrero, one of the collaborators of the Research of Research project, presented a study conducted as part of the project at the Triple Helix Conference, which took place at the University of São Paulo (USP) from June 19 to 21.

At the event, she presented the study titled “University Policies & Innovation: A Cluster Analysis.” The study aimed to analyze the strategies employed by research universities to promote engagement with the innovation process, understanding innovation as one of the missions of universities.

The study used data collected from a survey conducted with all federal universities across Brazil, in order to understand the extent and manner of university involvement in innovation activities.

The theme of the Triple Helix Conference was “Triple Helix and Impact Innovation: Connecting Smart Talent and Disruptive Technologies for a Better Tomorrow.” The event aimed to explore the intersections between academia, industry, and government and the role of these institutions in shaping the future of innovation.
