Spatial Data Modeller for
ArcGIS 9.1 and Spatial Analyst

ARCSDM3.1 and DataXplore. Spatial Data Modeller 3.1 Extension (Beta) for ArcMap 9.1 is now publicly available.

This package is a translation of the original Arc-SDM, but is designed to work with ArcGIS 9.1 (including Spatial Analyst). The original code was in Avenue. The new code is in Visual Basic, as ArcGIS no longer supports Avenue. As in the earlier package, Arc-SDM3.1 provides tools for weights of evidence, logistic regression, fuzzy logic and neural network analysis. The ultimate aim of all these methods is to combine two or more evidential themes to generate a response theme. In the situation of mineral exploration the response theme is a map that predicts favourability for mineral deposits of a particular type, defined either by a set of training points, or by a mineral exploration expert.
