VALUE CHAINS AND GOODS FLOW MANAGEMENT IN BRAZIL: REFLECTIONS ON TERRITORIAL LOGISTICS

Abstract
Global value-chains operate on the basis of the territorial logistics of companies specialized in the management of flows of merchandise, determining complex topologies. These organizations form spatial production circuits and circles of cooperation in space. In this study we analyze this problem on the basis of the Multimodal Transport Operators (MTO) registered with the National Land Transport Agency (NLTA) (Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres - ANTT). It is possible by means of this survey to understand the corporate strategies for the circulation of merchandise.
