Workshop
Impact Processes as a
Path to Habitability of
Planetary Bodies
June 26-28th, 2023
Campinas, Brazil
Large cosmic impacts are among the key geological processes potentially leading to the establishment of habitable conditions in planetary bodies.
This special focus, in-person meeting is intended to discuss recent advances in understanding the role of impacts in creating potential life-harboring environments in icy and rocky planetary bodies, with a special focus on icy moons such as Titan and Europa.
Participation in the workshop is by invitation only and free of registration charges. The number of participants will be limited.
So, if you would like to receive an invitation, please contact one of the organizers.
The workshop will be held at the main campus of the State University of Campinas-Unicamp (see the Venue section).
