EXECUTIVE COURSE

Evaluation of Results and Impacts of Research, Development, and Innovation (I+D+i)

To train professionals and managers of public and private organizations in the evaluation of results and impacts of policies, programs and institutions oriented to Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I).

Target Audience

A multidisciplinary course for students from all areas of knowledge and who have involvement in the formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of IDP strategies, policies, and programs.

Principal instructor

More than 25 years experience in research and teaching. He was a visiting researcher at the University of Manchester. He has coordinated several research and service projects in important public and private organizations in Brazil and abroad in evaluation of results and impacts. He is the founder of Lab-GEOPI, a non-profit organization that works in the field of outcome and impact assessment, future studies, evolutionary planning, policies and sector studies, among others. He is the founder of Lab-GEOPI.

More than 10 years of experience in research and teaching at UNICAMP. Works in several projects of evaluation of results and impacts in ST&I and higher education of several national and international institutions.

Over 10 years of teaching experience at UNICAMP. Works in several research and consulting projects in the areas of impact assessment impact assessment, planning and management and prospection of science, technology and innovation.

Professor and researcher at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora in probability and statistics, with emphasis on: correspondence analysis, multivariate analysis and generalized linear models and markovian models. He works in IDP evaluation projects in partnership with Lab-GEOPI.

Professor and researcher at UFABC in Computer and Information Science. He is a specialist in pattern recognition (graph mining) and works in several impact evaluation projects in partnership with Lab-GEOPI.

Professor of economics and international relations at George Washington University. Specialist in risk analysis, networks/partnerships and bibliometrics. He works in partnership with several prestigious institutions in Brazil, Russia, Korea, China, and the European Union.

Graduated, master’s and doctorate from UNICAMP with experience in bibliometrics and altmetrics as tools for evaluation. She works in evaluation projects of results and impacts in ST&I at Lab-GEOPI.

Course on concepts, methods and practices and cases of evaluation of results and impacts of strategies, policies and programs of science, technology and innovation (STI).

The course presents the fundamentals, tools and practice frontiers of outcome and impact evaluation in STI activities.

Professors with several years of experience bring concepts, discuss national and international cases and guide workshops on strategy, policy and program evaluation in research, development and innovation activities. (R&D+i).

The course contributes to an important enhancement both for those working in R&D evaluation and for professionals and/or scholars who wish to push the frontier of knowledge. It was very rewarding.
The course has broadened my horizon and my vision about the importance and how to perform, develop, and conduct results and impact evaluations of projects.
